THE HOME LAND STUDY GROUP FOUNDATION's PROPOSE FLAG.
The Home Land Study Groups foundation see the fact of managing their own affairs by putting measures in place while seeking for the approval of their independent from Ghana, some members who understands the momentum of politics and validity of governance propose this flag design to symbolize their new country. though the flag has not been approve by the united nations (UN) and other plebiscite law governing bodies but majority of Ghanaian living on that side of the country sees it as their formidable country flag to be.
The demand runs contrary to the prevailing international order of globalization which rather facilitates the integration of states and
nations to political and economic blocs. the group is making more claims with writing documents that stated date of origination of the western togoland from foreign explorations and missionary that colonize the land.
they published a writing document that state the following;
1) German cohabited with Togolese between 1844 - 1913 and German Togoland by allied forces on 2nd August, 1914.
2) Division of the Togo in to East and West Togoland on 10th July 1919 by the (french and English)
3) Togo became a German suzerainty on 5th July 1884.
4) Togo became the world chief exporter of raw cotton on 1886.
5) Franco British forces invaded Togo on 1914 in Lume, Agbeluvoe and Atakpame.
6) League of nations gave west Togo to the Britain as a mandated territory on 1922.
7) West Togo became a trust territory to Britain in 1946.
8) the trusteeship agreement was terminated in 1957.
9) Great Britain's act of independent for Ghana was passed in 1957, which West Togoland was not part of.
10) In all Gold Coast voted to be a unitary state with West Togoland on 1956, whilst the Western Togoland voted to be a union with Ghana in 9th July 1956. the union had been established from then till now.
11) the size of Eastern Togo is 22.000 sq. mls.
12) The size Western Togo is 12.600 sq. mls.
this and many other clarification document they published to prove their argument allowable for peaceful and successful deed of the secession of the Volta Region and parts of the Northern and Upper East Regions from Ghana to become the Western Togoland state as soon as possible.
